Pat and Family, I am so sorry to hear of the sudden loss of Dee. I have had the chance to see him more over the past few years and we've had a good time talking about the old days. We are keeping you in our prayers and hope your cherished memories help you through this time of sorrow.

I must have told him a hundred times that if I was ever on the show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," he would be the first lifeline I would use. He truly knew a little (and in some cases a lot) about everything. We will certainly miss everything he did for Alexander Oil Company/Jud's Food Stores, but most of all we will miss his ability to make us laugh. He was not only a coworker, but a friend as well.
To his family, You were his world. For over six years, I grew to know all of you through him. He talked about you all the time. Needless to say I learned a lot about Baseball and politics! The day he became "Grandstands" was one of the happiest days of his life. He loved showing me pictures of the grandkids and baseball outings. I could always tell how happy and proud he was.
Please accept our deepest condolences. You all are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We are only a phone call away if you need anything.

Dee was a true friend. Never at a loss for words and help when you needed him. I know he is playing baseball with the Big Guys now. I can only hope to be good enough to see him when it's my turn at bat.

Uncle Dee was a great man & will be missed by many. May your memories bring you comfort in the days ahead. You now have a very special "angel up in the outfield"
watching over all of you.
