God's peace to all of you during this time of loss. I have fond childhood memories of Vennie. My sister and I enjoyed many outings to Lake Somerville with my parents, Vennie and Elfred. We had so much fun, boating, skiing, and roasting hot dogs. She was a great lady, and I rejoice that she is now healthy and well in heaven with loved ones who, I trust, welcomed her at the pearly gates.

To Vennie's family:
Thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. In the "old" days, the Sheriff's office was across the hall from the Tax Assessor-Collector's office, and I remember seeing Vennie often when I would go to visit my dad. She always had a beautiful smile, a quick wit, and took the time to visit whenever I saw her. I know she will be missed, but she is in the arms of God and reunited with her loved ones. May God's peace be with you.

Dear Vennie's family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Vennie was like my second Mother. Beverly was one of my best friends while we were in Brenham Hign School. Vennie was so sweet and caring and we had many wonderful times together. She can now be with her two loves...Elfred and Beverly. You will be missed Dear Precious Lady. Love you...Virginia
