Dear Walker Family,
Robert was a respected member of the law enforcement "blue" family. I worked directly with him in the Louetta area of Pct. 4 in the late 90's. Robert often spoke of his family and it was obvious that you guys were his joy.
He will be missed.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Matthew 5:9

Dear Walker family,
"Ladies, how we doing"? These are the words I remember from Robert as he signed in at Farney Elementary everyday. He has taken care of us since our school opened in 2000. I also saw him often when he worked our sons Cy-Fair H.S. baseball games. I think he really liked working in CFISD. I feel honored to call him a special friend. We will miss him greatly, he was such a good man. I do think though, that his spirit will always be with us still, at Farney Elementary!
May God hold you close during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Cathy Mattiza

Liz & Family--
I don't think Robert ever realized the impact he made not only in Harris County but also here in Washington County. He was so well respected not only as a law enforcement officer but also as a genuine, caring person. People such as Bob don't come into our lives very often. I feel so honored to have known him and you...as Ms. Avis' email just attested, he was such a good person and so many people depended on him every day.(I don't think he realized how many people knew the difference he made.) You should be SO PROUD! We love you all so much...wish we could have changed the way things went, but it was not meant to be...please know that WE ARE HERE FOR YOU at any time!!

To the Family of Officer Walker:
I want to extend my deepest sympathy. I am a bus
driver for Cy-Fair and drove at all three schools Officer Walker took care of. He was always there to help us on the cold and the hot rainy days, we could always count on him. Even during this past year when his health was failing he was there. We will all miss him. I, along with my fellow drivers had great respect and graditude for all he that he did for our safety. May God be with you now and always.
Sincerely,
Judy Avis

Liz and Family,
We are so saddened to hear about the loss of your husband and father.
I still rememember how much fun we had that office trip to Cancun--you both were so kind to me and took care of me on my first plane trip. I will always treasure your friendship.
May God comfort you during this time of sadness.
