Phyllis Wegner Vaughn

Phyllis Lou Vaughn, loving wife, mother, and grandmother left her family and friends to be in the loving arms of our Savior Jesus Christ on November 29, 2023, while in her sleep.

She will be remembered for her love of family. She was born May 7, 1931 in Archer, Nebraska where she lived and worked on the farm with her parents Louis and Lydia Wegner. She had a special love for all the animals that continued through her life. Phyllis worked as a die maker at the Cleaners Hanger Company and from there she retired.

Phyllis was preceded in death by: parents, sisters Vivian and Juanita, brother Leland, son Michael Nugent. She is survived by son John Nugent.

Visitation will be Friday, December 8th with family present from 5-7 pm at Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 9th at 3 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville with Rev. Glenn Hohlt officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
