Our prayers go out to all of the family. She was a kind and thoughtful lady and I look in the back yard and think about her every day. She made the most fabulous sugar cookies and passed them out every Halloween- always saving a special plate for me when I was a kid, and later, for my kids. She was a very good friend to my grandmother- they would talk on the phone like teenagers just about every day. She will be missed but is surely in a more fitting place for her kind and gentle spirit.
