Betty Jean and Margie,
God bless your mom. Aunt Lorena had a way of making both of us feel whole and strong. Doug and I loved our childhood at "our week-end" farm, and the memories linger still. Homemade bread and butter, wash tubs, feeding the chickens, running from the "mad" cow, picking wild flowers, dance halls on Saturday night, rodeos, fishing in the Brazos and the tank, shucking corn....
Well, some of the memories are less pleasant than others... hitting the barn at break-neck speed as the bicycle rolled downhill totally out of control. We learned so much there and from Aunt Lorena, if only we could practice it all.

We are so sorry for your loss and love you both very much.
