Deepest condolences to Karla's family. I have fond memories of her growing up and playing as kids while our parents played dominos at the Wahrenberger's home, her infectious smile all those years at KHS in the hallways, and sweet, younger sister of my dear friend, Mickey. I know she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May God comfort you and grant you all peace in the days ahead.

I was fortunate to know Karla through the Administrative Personnel Association. When I think of her, the word “FUN” comes to mind - she was energetic and enthusiastic about all things and really enjoyed life and all it had to offer. The last time that APA met in Little Rock, she and I went out to eat together at the “Starving Artists Cafe”. They had an interesting menu and it included Carrot Lavender Soup - she was up for trying it, so I followed along - we both absolutely loved it and at subsequent meetings, we would reminisce about that soup and wish we could have it again. It’s just a sweet memory, among many others about Karla, that I treasure.
