Judy Schroeder Sanders

Judy Sanders, 54 of Brenham passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2004 in Bellville General Hospital.

Judy was born December 30, 1949 in Brenham to Roger and Verbena Runge Schroeder. She was baptized on February 19, 1950 and confirmed on March 22, 1964 at Salem Lutheran Church of Welcome. She attended Brenham public schools and graduated from Waltrip High School in Houston. On November 14, 1998 she was married to Robert Sanders at their home by Pastor Walter Schindehette. Judy was an assistant supervisor at the help desk for Germania Insurance Company. She loved her home in the country and was a regular blood donor.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband Robert Sanders of Brenham, son William Christopher Cone of Houston; daughter Cathy Smith of Houston; stepsons Brian Sanders of New Baden and Brent Sanders and wife Stacey of Franklin; grandchildren Jonathan Smith, Bryson Sanders and Jacob Sanders; brother Gary Schroeder and wife Lynn of Brenham and Houston.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 20, 2004 at Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 21, 2004 in Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Welcome. Rev. Jason Korthauer will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Glen Peters, Brian Sanders, Brent Sanders, Jason Griffin, Gary Prause and Jeff Williams.

Memorials may be given to Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Welcome.
