Dear Granny -
Just wanted to write and tell you first how much we all love you, and how I wish we could have been there for you, and for mom, when granddad passed away. I told mom on the phone that I was just thinking of grandad a couple of weeks ago, as I read a book about WWII. We hope you can feel our love and prayers even from the other side of the world!!
Much love

I AM SORRY TO HEAR OF THE LOSS OF YOUR FATHER AND HUSBAND. I DID NOT KNOW JACK KUYKENDALL AND ONLY LEARNED OF HIS PASSING BY DOING GENEALOGICAL RESEARCH ON THE KUYKENDALL NAME.
My own father Winston Kuykendall of Beaver Dam, KY is of the same generation. He was born 11/23/24 in Ohio, County, KY. It is always a tragedy to lose another member of that wonderful generation that did so much for all of their children, for their nation and even for the world.
That is a nice picture of Mr. Kuykendall, he was a fine looking man. I am sure he will be sorely missed.
Your distant relative

Mrs Kuykendall and Family,
We never met your husband and we haven't met you yet. However, we have heard many stories from Mark and Diane that tell us about you. We have seen the character of your son, and the values that he holds and know that you raised him to be a fine man. Donna and I are both very sorry for your loss and know God will help you through this time of sorrow.
