I am sure Dee will be missed by all he met. I knew Dee through employment with Milchem and knew him to be a man of integrity. I am sorry for your loss.

Happy Birthday tomorrow DeeBird. Our Emma Kate,Tommy,Cooper & adding George & Barrett to the family has fulfilled our lives.

I'm sure you are seeing Cooper & Tommy showing all characteristics of GrandStands. I can hardly wait to see their lives unfold; followed by George & Barrett to come. Our EmmaKate will always be your BabyDoll.

DeeBird, we've made it thru several birthdays so far for 2012, Fathers Day yesterday & of course the day was quiet. Celebrating Tommys Birthday Sat. -16th (today he turns 3 yrs. old) we all know GrandStands intervention was sure w/us when Matt found the full catchers gear for TH size for his birthday from Uncle P.D. The gear all there @ the sporting goods....we all agreed you had a hand in it. It fit TH perfect too. Matt will p/u another helmet because Cooper sure loved it too.The best had to be P.D. dressed as Batman. It was great & PD loved playing the role. Your Sarah wrote a lovely poem WE REMEMBER HIM dedicated to you. It said everything it should about your life & how you lived. Love you GrandStands from all of us.

Your loving wife....

DeeBird, Happy Birthday tomorrow Feb. 22nd. I hope the day will be less emotional than Valentines for us all. I can only say if our family did not have each other, all the friends, the baseball players, the Santa & Mrs.Santa, the Tex's of the world, The Cendalskis, the Natalies & Allisons, the Cynthia & Rays, the Susan & Toms, the Pat & Marks of this world I & your wonderful sons& their wives would not have made it so well the last 83 days.I know that God above & our angels have not taken their eyes off of us.

This next paragraph is to honor your courageous Emma Kate,Tommy & Cooper. They love hearing GrandStands softly talk to them thru the beautiful chimes P.D. put above you, the balloons they have launched to you & you caught them. Their visit to GrandStands allows them to toss red dirt clods onto the drive. All 4 of us (EK,TH, CR & I) know where all the beautiful white angels are placed @ Prairie Lea. So our visit is always first to listen to GS, say a prayer, toss the dirt clods & the finale is finding the angels. Never knew there were so many there. They are beautiful.

The visit always ends happy......we know thats the way you want us to be.....strong, courageous & hopeful. In the short years with Emma,Tommy & Cooper you taught them well.

I love you as I always have, know you are our ANGEL above. Be with us everyday.

Every morning as I leave I ask God for the following...GOD PLEASE SEND SOMETHING POSITIVE TODAY. Before the day ends something positive has crossed my path.

Happy Birthday DeeBird..........I love you.....

Dee-Dee and I shared a special relationship when we were children growing up together like siblings. He never left my mind or heart. Deepest regrets to all the McIntyre family members and especially to his sons. Of all the great gifts he provided, people would always mention his love of his boys. So he will live on in them.

Pat, so sorry to hear about Dee. Ray R. called me and sorry I could not get up for the services. I got to see him more these past years as I got more involved again with the baseball games. I consider him a life long friend, he was a good man. I read your tribute, it was awesome. He was always " Dee Bird " to me also. Maybe I gave him that name in high school, not sure. My heart felt sympathy to you and the boys. I will miss him also.

My best to you.
