I am so sorry for your loss. I was one of Fred's ExxonMobil co-workers. He was one of the nicest people that ever graced the planet. He was the go-to person for 3 generations of gas accountants, and was always so generous of his enormous talent and his time. Fred had an absolute commitment to finding the right and ethical answer to every problem, and was so patient in the process. I feel blessed to have known him. His passing marks the end of an era...

I am so thankful to have met Fred. He took me under his HLSR Carnival Ticket Sales wings and showed me the ropes. Awesome, kind, wonderful and gentle spirit.
Peace and Blessings to Carol and the Watson family.

Carol,
Please accept my deepest sympathy. We just saw Fred at the last carnival ticket meeting and I thought maybe he was doing better since he wanted to be there.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do.
He will be missed.
Much love,

Fred will definitely be missed. Carol: You and he had such a wonderful relationship as was witnessed by all. I could never repay him as to the knowledge he shared and willingness to help. His patience with Laurie and me was incredible. Most of all I am glad he included me as one of his friends. Also, we always shared the bond of double consonants for our initials -FWW and TFF. I still remember his staying all night with me for 2 times at December 1985 to complete the Exxon financials and support for my first time through. Know it impacted you and appreciate it. Thank you. When he accepted what I had prepared a couple of years later, I felt I had really grown due to him and that was the way it was supposed to be rather than he be impacted every time they changed over personnel. If I can ever be of help, please let me know.

I know I am one of many Exxon co-workers who benefited from working with, and learning from, Fred. He was the go-to person about all things related to Gas processing and accounting. He also was one of the nicest men I ever met. Fred was always willing to stop and share what he knew. His friendliness and smile made him a joy to be around. I am so sorry that he is gone and my heart goes out to you. Just know that we all were blessed to have known him. May he rest in peace.

So sorry for your loss, Carol & Darrell Watson, I hope God and this poem comforts you.
The Rose Beyond The Wall
A rose once grew where all could see,
sheltered beside a garden wall,
And as the days passed swiftly by,
it spread its branches, straight and tall...
One day, a beam of light shone through
a crevice that had opened wide
The rose bent gently toward its warmth
then passed beyond to the other side
Now, you who deeply feel its loss,
be comforted - the rose blooms there-
its beauty even greater now, nurtured by
God's own loving care.
