I wish to express my condolences to Carol and the family. I've known Fred through COPAS for a number of years. He's experience in expertise were invaluable to COPAS and our industry as he did a lot of the heavy lifting for the Revenue Committee's publications.

He was a fine man always considerate of others and unselfishly mentoring others.

Rest in Peace Fred Watson

I was sad to hear about Fred's passing. We were co-workers at Exxon and ExxonMobil for over 30 years and worked together on various projects over that time period. He was an intelligent, knowledgeable, and considerate team member. It was always a pleasure working with Fred because he worked tirelessly to resolve issues while maintaining an optimistic outlook and never letting frustration and setbacks deter him from reaching his goals. He was respected by all he met. My condolences on the loss of a good and kind human being.

May the Lord rest Freddie's soul - I knew Freddie when he joined COPAS and we both grew up together in the Revenue Committee working on projects - he was a kind person and passionate about his work. I will miss seeing him at meetings.

I met Fred through the COPAS National meetings. Even though he was retired, Fred continued to volunteer his time and talents to COPAS. I am so saddened by the passing of such a wonderful gentleman.

My prayers and condolences are with his family.

The Celebration Of Fred’s Life

We are here to celebrate your life.
And the measure of its worth.
And every single life you touched.
While you were on this earth.
We wish to pay our last respects.
That's why we all are here.
To thank you for your friendship.
And all the memories we hold dear.
It’s been a privilege to have known you.
We were family not just friends.
And we will carry you in spirit.
Until we meet up once again.

I will truly miss my dear friend, Fred. He was such an inspiration in my career as well as so many others. He was absolutely brilliant! Fred touched our lives in such a way that now there is such a void. We were truly family not just friends, enjoy your new home in Heaven, until we meet up once again! Love, Marvinette

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Fred. I treasure my privilege of being able to work with such a brilliant man at exxonmobil over the course of my early career in the 90's. We have lost an icon in our industry.
