Anne Prigge Hooks

Dear Hooks and Prigge Families, We were so sorry to hear of this loss. We really wanted a miracle, but we are reminding ourselves that God's ways are higher and better than our ways. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. We are very sorry that we won't be able to attend the service for Anne, but we will be in prayer for you all at that time. Anne's courage and spirit in facing her illness was an example we have not often seen. She was indeed a very special girl. We know she will be a special angel for her boys. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. Anne was such a sweet person with a strong will to live. I still remember my first Maifest when she invited me to participate in her court when she was Queen. I remember that being a special Maifest because I still lived in Houston and Anne invited me because we were Sunday School classmates. I pray that your fond memories and the strength and faith to move on will help you in the days ahead. My sympathy to all of you who loved her so much.
