JoAnne and Family,
Arnold and I were sad to hear about Alton. It seems like just yesterday that we were all dating at DCHS. I remember Alton as a kind and gentle person. And what a "Mighty Mustang" he was. You will be in our prayers as you go through the days ahead.

We are very sorry to hear of Alton's passing. I always looked up to Alton as a classmate and teammate back in our school days in Denver City. He was an outstanding athlete and set a good example for me and many of his teammates to follow. An honorable man, he will be missed. Our heart goes out to the Alton Sossaman family. May God bless you all.

I will remember him as a wonderful teammate and classmate and was so delighted to have had the opportunity to get re-acquainted at the 50th reunion of our State Championship football team.
I regret I will be unable to attend the services due to distance and health.
My sincere sympathy to Joanne and his family for your loss.

JoAnne and Family,
Susie and I are very sorry to learn about Al. He was a great guy and I loved working with and for him for many years. I know he and You have been through trying times for the last many years because of Al's health. I hate the end came like this, but like you said; he died with his boots on. That is the way he would have wanted. He was a great guy and he treated all of us with respect. He is with the Lord now and will not hurt anymore, he can ride all the horses he wants and not get hurt.
Love all of You.

Dear Joanne,

It's difficult to find the words to express our sorrow at Al's death. In our times with him, we could not have wanted a better father-in-law and grandfather for Laura, and Audrey and Ella. Laura spoke of him through the years with such affection. The thing we always knew when we visited with Al, he was the genuine article - - kind, caring, honest and real. It has always been visible to us the influence Al had on Heath in modeling how to live one's life with integrity and honesty.

Because Jim is still restricted from travel, we are saddened that we will not be able to be in attendance at Al's memorial service. Please know that our hearts are with you and the family and you will continue be in our prayers.

Love, Jim and Sue

Joanne,
We were shocked and sadden by the news of Al's death. Both you and Al have been such great neighbors. We always enjoyed our visits and talks. May God give you his strength to see you through the days ahead. Remember we a just next door if there is ever anything you need. Al will always be remembered as a kind and carrying person who loved people and his Lord and Savior.
His life was one of service to others. The Lord's blessings to you and your family.
