Obituary
On Tuesday, May 11, 2021", William (Bill) Miller was released into the loving arms
of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ following a short illness.
Bill was born August 7, 1941, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to William Miller and Carmen Jo
Miller (Dewberry). His family moved to Ajo, Arizona when he was three years old.
After graduating from high school, he worked at the Phelps Dodge Copper mine,
where he honed his skills to become a Class A machinist. His machinist career
took him back to Oklahoma, and eventually to Brenham, Texas. There he met the
love of his life, Deb Limberg. They were married on March 3, 1993.
Bill was a committed Christian and a founding member of Grace Community
Fellowship of Brenham, where he served as an elder and as a marriage counselor.
He loved people and wanted them to find the happiness he found in his own
Christ-centered marriage. He would tell everyone that he had the best marriage
of anyone he knew. He was an avid hunter, but enjoyed just watching God's
creation as much as hunting. Bill loved working on his 15 acres, and cooking for
his wife and friends.
Bill was a man of humility. He never met a stranger, and was always willing to
lend a helping hand, offer encouragement and advice, and share a laugh with
those who came to him for help and comfort. He will be dearly missed, but
heaven is enriched by his homecoming.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents William Miller and Carmen Jo Miller
(Dewberry), and his younger brother Robert Miller. He is survived by his wife of
28 years, Deb; sister Patti and husband Ray Love; sister Louise and husband
Monty McCollum; son James and wife Becky Miller; son Bobby Miller; son Chris
and wife Edna Miller; daughter Melissa and husband Mike Eckenrode; son Billy
Miller and fiance LaDawna Johnson; and son Sammy Miller. He was blessed with
19 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Sunday, May 16, at Grace Community Fellowship, 107 S. Saeger St, Brenham, Texas,77833, with a Memorial Gathering at 4:00 PM and a
Celebration of Life service at 5:30 pm.
Services are in the care of Brenham Memorial Chapel and online condolences for the family may left at www.brenhammemorialchapel.com.
