I was Bill’s classmate at the U.S. Naval Academy, class of 1961. He was a great friend. I tried to get him to go into the Marine Corps but he went Navy Air!! He would have been a Super Marine! Please pass on my condolences to all his family and friends!

Bill was in USNA 10th Company with me for 3 years.
Also, we both flew for Delta for about thirty years.
At USNA Bill was known as "Water Tight" based on his initials being the same as the mythical Midshipman,
W.T. Door, Navy lingo for a watertight door on the
ship. Bill was a great guy, and well respected by
his Navy shipmates and Delta fellow pilots. Please
accept my condolences.

My dearest Dr Roundtree (Chris)??,
Today, As family and friends gather to celebrate the life of your incredible father. To say goodbye,
I want to acknowledge the immense impact he had on everyone lives. His love, guidance, and support that shaped everyone into the people they are today.
Your father lived a life filled with purpose, joy, and love. He was a shining example of kindness, compassion, and strength. His smile could light up a room, and his laughter was contagious.
I wish I’m opportune to get to know him as well to be able to always remember his warmth, his wisdom, and his generosity. He may be gone, but his legacy lives on through us. Let's honor his memory by living a life that makes him proud.
May your father's soul rest in eternal peace, and may we continue to celebrate his life, his love, and his legacy.
With all my love, hugs, and condolences,

Bill and Chris,
I am so sorry about the loss of your dad, my “Uncle Bill.”
I have so many fond memories of his incredible generosity and making life when we were young so much fun. From taking us to Astroworld to Galveston, Uncle Bill always made my brother Pete and me part of the family. Exploring the neighborhood, going out late at night or shooting fireworks on the golf course, summers in Humble were always memorable. And, even though our adventures weren’t always “parent approved”, we knew that Uncle Bill had our back and was looking out for us. Even working with him and his sprinkler crew digging ditches in the Texas heat was also a great time - if you can believe it! Uncle Bill showed what a full embrace of life meant.
He will be missed greatly, but his imprint on my life will be forever.
My deepest condolences,
Brian

Dear Carol and Corbin and family, the Amelang Family sends condolences to you all. We are so very sorry for your loss and pray for the Lord to give you supernatural love in this time of grieving.
I will always cherish my memories and time with your beloved husband and father. He had many stories to tell, had lived such an awesome life and was so incredibly gifted at many things. I will never forget seeing the furniture he built and rebuilt. I was amazed at his physical strength and dexterity. He always loved music and made such an effort to attend all of Corbin’s performances. Incredible! He was a wonderful man in many ways, and I know you will miss Him terribly. May the Holy Spirit bring comfort to your family and shower each of you with His precious His love.

My sincerest condolences to all of Bill’s loved ones. I have very fond and meaningful memories hanging Christmas lights at Bill and Carol’s house in Brenham over the years. He was a great source of wisdom and a role model for myself, and many of my friends that helped hang Christmas lights for the Brooks family. I’m grateful for Bill’s impact in my life and the lives of many and look forward to seeing him again in heaven one day.
