I feel a real sense of loss of a dear friend and extended member of the Sharman family. Walter was, indeed, a special Houston personality, who evoked love and respect from all who came to know him.

A mighty oak has fallen in the forest of life. We will miss him greatly. We have been blessed by his loving kindness, generosity, and his wonderful sense of humor.
