Travis Wade Thornton - Guestbook

Dear Travis' loved ones,

I met Travis several years ago, while we were both living in Brookline, MA. I had the pleasure of spending time with him, and at times, with his beautiful daughters. He was easy to connect with and easy to be with, and had an enormous heart (particularly when it came to his daughters). It was easy to see that was a loving and devoted father; truly sweet and protective, silly and dutiful. And with his charming voice, he always spoke of his family in sweet ways. I knew him as resourceful, genuine, strong willed, generous, self-deprecating and sensitive. We hadn't seen eachother in quite some time, but last we spoke, sometime last year, we warmly wished eachother well. I'm so very sorry to learn of his passing, but grateful to have known him. I send my condolences to his daughters and his family.

I know your father was so happy to work with you in Veit Nam and you'll had more bonding time. I know you Uncle Gilbert was looking down on you to trying to tell you'll where he spent his 3 years there and saying you'll got it easy. His favorite saying if someone went where he was in the service. You grew into a very handsome young man. You are with our Heavenly Father now and everyone can talk to you anytime they want, you my even be walking next to them. Follow your daughter's through out ther lives from up above, God Bless,

Wade was a great person who Always wore a smile on his face and was always kind hearted.I remember looking up to him along with Jake and Kevin always wanting to be around them because they were older and popular. He maybe gone to soon for us to bear, but God makes no mistakes. I'm thankful for the time and memories I have. May you rest in peace Wade knowing you touched many lives here on earth

I met Wade through my step son, Jake Landry. Those two had a friendship like no other. The kind you search your whole life to find. I'm going to miss him, I loved him like a son & I pray for healing & strength for his family as well as for Jake. Gone but never forgotten.

Wade was such an awesome guy. Funny, smart and sweet as they come. I'm so sad that his life came to such a sudden and untimely end. The BHS class of 1997 lost a good one when we lost Wade, but he will live on in our memories...

Any class with Wade or Jake in it was going to be a good one. You just knew you would laugh your way through the semester. I remember Wade & Jake even making the most strict/jaded teachers crack a smile!

I am so sorry for your loss. Wade was a great guy and always had a smile on his face. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

We pray that God gives you peace in knowing that Wade has reached his eternal home. May God give you comfort through your wonderful memories and through family and friends. I had the pleasure of meeting Travis several years ago and I am happy to say I have such fond memories of him. He was a funny and kind hearted friend but mostly an exceptional dad. He doted on Addy and Kyla and his love for them was apparent the moment you saw him with them. I am sorry to hear of his passing. It is a tremendous loss for his friends and family especially his daughters. It is comforting to know his girls are reminders of the good that Travis possessed and his legacy will live on in them.
You will be missed in the Camp Wellville community, Travis. Rest in peace.
