Sue was a wonderful person. I always enjoyed when she came into the print shop and serving with her on Blue Blazers. She will be missed.

Dear family: I meet Ms. Sue as a young man some 40 plus years ago at the Johnny Fischer home and have been friends ever since. That was the kind of Lady she was, she always remembered and she always had a smile and a little story to share. A great lady from our town is now gone and all of Brenham and Washington County will miss her and her guidance. Here's to you Dear Friend!

I knew Sue as a fellow Blue Blazer and Rotarian. I remember how astonished I was when I learned her age. She was so productive and energetic, an amazing woman. She loved the songs we sang in Rotary club, so this Saturday, we'll sing "Blue Spanish Eyes" and "You'll Never Walk Alone" a final time for Sue. I extend my condolences to the family and all of Washington County. We will miss her.

There will never be another ambassador for Brenham and Washington County to compare to Sue. She had a passion for promoting the best in everything and exemplified that passion in her own life. She will be sorely missed, but her accomplishments will live on. I will always think of her when I see a blue blazer...she blazed the trail for that welcoming organization which is now copied by many other cities. Sue made a difference...God bless her.
Love,
Mary Lou
