Ross Everett Nutt

Ross Everett Nutt passed away suddenly at his home in Brenham, Texas on May 24, 2024 at the age of 61.

Ross was born July 27, 1962 in Washington County, Texas. He was one of five children born to James and Willie Mae Nutt. He was baptized and confirmed in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Brenham. He attended Brenham schools.

Ross was an avid wildlife hunter. Some of his favorite places to hunt were Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas. He also spent many years guiding in Mexico.

Ross was preceded in death by his parents, James and Willie Mae Nutt; daughter Halley.

Survivors include his companion Maria; children Dalton and Michaela; grandchildren Chastity and Cereniddy; siblings Bill and wife Elizabeth, Neil, Rona, and Boyd and wife Joy, with numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation for Ross will be held Monday, June 10, 2024 at Brenham Memorial Chapel from 8:00am until 7:00pm with family present from 5:00 until 7:00pm.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 10:00am at Prairie Lea Cemetery with Pastor Phil Fenton officiating.

Memorials may be given to your charity of choice.
