Rory Littlejohn

Rory Eugene Littlejohn, 66, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2024. Born on August 16, 1958, in Corpus Christi, Rory lived a life full of love, laughter, and a deep connection to family and friends.

A graduate of Carroll High School in Corpus Christi, Texas, Rory furthered his education with an Auto Mechanics Certification at Del Mar College. He met and married the love of his life, Terri, on March 17, 1984, with whom he shared 43 years raising their three sons Isaac, Jacob, and Caleb. Rory took immense pride in his boys, instilling in them the values of hard work, loyalty, and an appreciation for life’s simple joys. He was always excited every chance he got to play Frisbee or Hacky Sack with his boys.

Rory was a man who found happiness in life’s little pleasures. He was an avid fan of westerns, and he could often be found cheering for the Dallas Cowboys and Texas A&M Aggies football teams. His love for the water was constant, whether it was fishing, swimming, or simply being near the ocean—he embraced everything about it. Always shirtless and shoeless, Rory embodied a carefree spirit that resonated with all who knew him.

An outdoorsman at heart, Rory enjoyed golfing, playing horseshoes, volleyball and softball. He was also a skilled poker, darts, and chess player, always challenging friends and family to a game. His hobbies extended to collecting Hot Wheels and baseball cards, passions he cherished and shared with his loved ones. He was a “Jack of All Trades” and could fix anything. Rory loved working with wood and was an exceptional carpenter.

Rory’s infectious laugh, quick wit, and kind heart will be missed by many, but none more than his family, including his faithful dog, Bo, who was always by his side.
Rory is preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Carolyn Littlejohn; sister Jacqueline Warren; Father and Mother-in-law Gary and Judy Jeter.

Rory is survived by his loving wife Terri; sons Isaac Littlejohn and husband Shaun, Jacob Littlejohn and wife Brianne, Caleb and future wife Sommer; granddaughters Ruby and Eleanor Littlejohn; brother Jeff Littlejohn and wife Laura; brother-in-law Gary Jeter; sister-in-law Sherri Desern and husband Walt; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
