Robert James Stahl, Jr.

Robert James Stahl, Jr., passed away October 3, 2016 while living in Dalian, China.

A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham, Texas.

Robert was born August 12, 1963 in Houston, Texas to Robert James Stahl, Sr. and Barbara Ruth (Houston) Stahl. He received both his BA and MEd from the University of Houston in Houston, Texas. Robert was General Manager and IT Director for the Dalian American International School, and Campus Village in Dalian, China.

His interests and hobbies included woodworking, carpentry, smoke barbeque, beer making, reading, traveling, history, driving and exploring, He is known for being a stoic with a good sense of humor. His favorite things to do are walking his dog, meditating on the words of Marcus Aurelius at the trellis, and watching the Star Trek series.

He leaves to mourn his significant other, Lisa Liang; stepchildren, Valerie and Jeremy; pet sheltie, Smiles; siblings Cynthia G. Bird and Candace E. Lueckemeyer.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, mother and sister Christine A. Rushing.
