Robert (Bob) F. Eccleston

Robert (Bob) F. Eccleston age 77 of Brenham, Texas, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012 in College Station, Texas. He was born on October 26, 1934 in Providence, Rhode Island to John Rathbun Eccleston and Cecile Irene (Bouchard) Eccleston. Bob married Sharon Grace Morgan on August 9, 1969 in Wickford, Rhode Island. They made their home for many years in Houston, Texas where Bob owned and managed his company, Weisler and Associates.

Bob served in the Korean Conflict and received the Korean Service Medal; he was a proud United States Marine. He received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and the designation of C.P.M.R. (Certified Professional Manufacturers Representative) from Indiana University. Bob was also a member of The National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, as well as a Charter Member of Quail Unlimited.

Surviving family include Wife, Sharon Eccleston of Brenham, TX; Sons and Daughters-In-Law, Scott and Sunny Eccleston of Garland, TX, John and Nancy Eccleston of Sandwich, Mass., Kevin and Laurie Eccleston of Plymouth, Mass., Robert and Carol Eccleston of Acushnet, Mass., William Eccleston of Sandwich, Mass.; Grandchildren, Mary Grace Eccleston and Elliot Molle’ of Garland, TX, Megan, Taylor and Brittany Eccleston of Sandwich, Mass., Nikki, Sean, Ashley and Emily Eccleston of Plymouth, Mass., Julie and Tom Eccleston of Acushnet, Mass., Jennifer, Christopher and Teresa of Sandwich, Mass.; Great Grand Children, Kallie and Skyler of Plymouth, Mass., as well as his Sisters and Brothers-in-Law, Marcia and Jean Austin of East Greenwich, R.I., Debbie Sumner and (Fiancée) John Owens of Exeter, R.I., and his Nephews, Jeff Austin of Coventry, R.I., David Austin of Hope, R.I., John Sumner of West Warwick, R.I.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents John Rathbun Eccleston and Cecile Irene (Bouchard) Eccleston.

The Ecclestons will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM on Thursday, January 19, 2012 in the Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, January 20, 2012 in St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Sandy Hill with Rev.Virgil Pecht officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with the Brenham Honor Guard rendering Military Honors. Serving as pallbearers are, Scott Eccleston, John Eccleston, Kevin Eccleston, David Austin, Jean Austin, and Roger Ellermann.
