Praying for you and yours. Sorry to hear of your loss but I think the memories and good times will last forever.

An outstanding engineer, husband and friend...and an OK golfer. Dick was always the one to focus the discussion when our professional liability insurance meetings tended to ramble. We will miss his friendship and leadership.
Dick brought that same focus to his golf game but also had the patience to play with those who truly struggled (me). I learned more about golf during our games in Kauai then in a season's worth in La Crosse.

It truly saddens me to hear of Dicks passing. It was my honor to know a man of his caliber. I know he will be missed. I hope those who knew him will realize what a privilege it was to be lucky enough to have known him. My travels with work take me out of town but I want you to know your family will be in our prayers.

Marcena and family,
I can see Dick standing there giving orders at the meeting in Tapitio(sp) Springs...I thought of a certain USMC sargent when I first met Dick! I loved him from the start! You Texans, especially the O'Malley type are just a special breed!
God's blessing and comfort for you and I'll look forward to seeing Dick again where he is now comfortable,

Please accept our condolances at the great loss of Dick. He was a special man to all that he met. Everyone that knew him called him friend. Even our children commented how he was so open and had that special smile.
Pam and I are out of town working in New Orleans for a few months so we will not be able to attend his services, but we will say a rosary for him and your family.
I know that Dick will be rejoicing with God in Heaven and praying for all of us.

Marcena,
We have such special memories of you and Dickie. You guys were some of the first O'Malley's I met the first time I came to Brenham. We will always remember and appreciate how you drove all the way to Oklahoma for our wedding 38 years ago. In fact you guys made every wedding special.
Dickie's hugs and sweet smile will surely be missed here on earth, but I bet Heaven already has some new Cuckoo Club members.
We love you.

We have lost a wonderful man. Dick and I served on the Unity Theater Board together and I liked him very much. Since we were both Aggies, we always had a lot to talk about. I will miss him.

Dear Marcena and all the members of the O’Malley network of family:
Toby and I are deeply saddened by the news of Dick’s passing. Not only have you lost a beloved member of your family, but also many of us have lost one of the most respected and beloved friends we have ever had. Dick was not only a supporter of our beloved profession of engineering; he was a model of honesty, integrity, and devotion to his fellow humans.
We are hopeful that your faith and your family unity will help you to recover soon from the grief you are now feeling. You will remain in our hearts and minds,

We have lost a dear friend.
If Dick O'Malley could not make you smile when he walked into a room, nobody could. We are all better for having known him and the poorer for his passing.

Dear Aunt Marci,
Whitney and I will always have some of our fondest memories of our "Uncle Dick" while we were both students at Blinn College. Whitney and I met and fell in love in Brenham, where family and learning about life as young adults included so many trips visiting you both at family reunions, Mayfest and other festivities around town. Our hearts go out to you as well as the rest of the family during this time of loss, we often smile while reminiscing of these times. May the Lord comfort you all during this season. Many prayers,
