I was very sad to recieve the Obituary in the mail...its been 25 years since I left Round Top to move back to Florida I enjoy being your neighbor for several years!

RP was a real inspiration to me I told a lot of people here about him, I always thought of him when I saw tractor pulls on TV or Long Horn cattle.

I have deep regrets I never returned to Round Top to visit with RP and you Willie Mae...I know he is an angel now and looking over Texas and Florida too!

Please accept our condolences. I know all of you will miss him but all the past joys and memories will give you strength to move on.
I will always remember him riding his horse to my grandmother's house and watching TV with my uncles in the 50's. Grandma would fuss because his horse would dig holes where he had it tied to the fence.

My condolences to the family. I knew Cowboy (and Lucky) from the tractor pulls back in the 70's and early 80's.
I will be out of town this week and can't make the funeral but my thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.
He was a good man and I'm sure his family and friends will sorely miss him.
