Randy Stitt

Randy Lee Stitt, currently of Brenham, Texas, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the age of 59. He was born in Akron, Ohio to Terry (McNutt) and Leon Stitt on July 3, 1963. He grew up in San Fernando Valley and his teen years in Fountain Valley, California. Randy earned his Eagle Scout in 1979. He and his wife Lisa (Schales) started dating in their senior year of high school in 1981. They married August 23, 1986 after graduating from college. Randy attended the University of California, Irvine where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. Moving to Mission Viejo, California they raised 4 children. He loved his profession of 33 years as a mortgage loan officer. He enjoyed being a mentor to others in the field. Randy was a leader in his son’s High Adventure Boy Scout troops, where they both earned the rank of Eagle Scout just like their father. He was always heavily involved with his church and little league coaching. He enjoyed golfing, boating, hunting, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lisa; their 4 adult children, Bryan (Maria), Alysse, Emily, and Brayden (Emily). He was the beloved Pop Pops to James and Gianna. He is also remembered by his brothers, Neal Fulton (Sherri) and Rob Fulton (Debbie); his sister, Tina Taylor (Kelly); along with many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Leon Stitt; his mother Terry Lynn, and her ex-husband Calvin Fulton.
