Polly had a very sunny personality, sometimes when conditions might bring out less of a cheerful appearance. She was very friendly and hospitable and had a wonderful sense of humor. She also was and I would dare say, still is, a redeemed child of God.

Sweet Polly. I will always remember her as a kind and loving person. I enjoyed playing handbells next to her at church. She approached the task of learning to play with a cheerful demeanor and determination. She always had a smile. Years after she had closed that chapter in life I would see her in town, at the store or at the hospital. She would always take the time to say hello and ask about me and my family. Once you met Polly, you were forever in her circle of friends. She genuinely cared about you and was quick to give a hug and friendly smile. I think of her often and feel blessed our paths crossed so many years ago. I find comfort knowing I was able to meet a true angel on earth and I know she is resting free from pain in the arms of her loving God. My condolences to her family as you grieve the loss of your Mom and Grandmother. My thanks to you all for sharing such a precious angel with the world.

Polly was a great friend, neighbor and fellow church member for many years. She had a way of always lifting me up and being the best example of a truly nice person every day. Her friendly smile and quick wit will by our cherished memory of her.
