Obituary
Pauline Anne Wilbraham, 79, of Chappell Hill, Texas, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025, in Temple, Texas.
Born June 8, 1945, in Leicester, England, Pauline was the daughter of George and Evelyn Clark and sister to Pamela and Janet. Pauline immigrated to Houston, TX in the mid-1970s to make a better life for herself and her son, Conrad, and made Chappell Hill home in the early 2000s. She had a deep love for animals and found great joy in the company of her two dogs, Scout and Twigg, as well as her beloved cats, Sophie, Bella, Zack, and Benjamin.
Pauline had a passion for gardening—especially her rose garden—and was an avid fan of British murder mysteries, Formula One racing, fashion (she often modeled clothing at Puppy Dawgs and Cat Tails) and the music of the Rolling Stones (her favorite song being, “She’s a Rainbow”). Pauline’s big smile, sharp wit, curious spirit and vibrant personality left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Pauline worked as a personal assistant for Bob Devant for over forty-two years at Seacoast Oil & Gas in Brenham, Texas.
Pauline is survived by her son, Conrad J. Chambers, who cherishes her memory and the love she shared.
