What a joy it was to know and call Nancy a friend. She was such a kind and loving soul, and her warmth and faith touched so many lives. While her absence leaves a void here on earth, we take comfort in knowing that she is now in the presence of Jesus, where there is no more pain or sorrow.
Our hearts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May God’s love and peace surround you, bringing you comfort and strength as you celebrate Nancy’s life and legacy.
With love and heartfelt condolences,

Nancy was a jewel that shined so bright. She loved her Lord, her family and friends. She would do anything to make others feel loved. I am a better person because of you.
We had many special times teaching together at Alton.
You will be missed, sweet friend. Rest in heaven.
Love,
Debra

To Nancy’s family,
I first met Nancy when she taught our daughter 1st grade at Brenham Elementary. I got to be her room mom and volunteer. She had the biggest heart for her students. One example, if one needed tennis shoes for track and field day and didn’t have the means to get them she would get them for them. Now our grand daughters attend FB and I got to see how much she cared there. She was a special lady May God give you all peace.

“Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.” ...
Proverbs 31:25-30
This scripture describes Nancy perfectly. Who knew that we when met in fifth grade, we would become lifelong friends? Nancy changed that world in immeasurable big and small ways. Like so many others, my heart is broken but I rejoice knowing that Nancy is walking on streets of gold with Jesus.
In peace,

Ryan and family,
Nancy was a blessing to so many people. One of those blessed was our son Ryan. She was his first grade teacher and he learned how to think of others first because of you. May God give all of you peace with all the good memories of her.
Sincere sympathies,

So sorry for your family’s loss in the passing of a dear wife, mom, and grandmother as well as friend, teacher and mentor to so many. Such a sudden diagnosis and short courageous battle. Reading all the Facebook posts and sentiments, no doubt Nancy had a strong faith and touched so many lives. She rests now with our Lord. Cherish all your special memories and smile knowing that her work on earth was so full. Well done, good and faithful servant! And, Ryan, we are just down the road in the neighborhood if you need anything and also know all your Blue Bell family is there for you. Sharing our thoughts, prayers and sympathy with you all.
Blessings to all, David, Christy, Madison and Dawson Moran

Dear Family,
I remember Mrs. Jahns coming through my line as a cashier at HEB and she was so sweet and patient usually one of you in her arms or in the basket. Fast forward years later and our paths would cross again, when my Tyson would go to First Baptist in the three year old class. Tyson would get himself into trouble once or twice in his time there and I ended up in her office and she was just is calm as she could be and she would turn it into a positive some how for me the mom as to how we would get through it and of course we would end our conversation in prayer. She has watched them grow up since then, was there for us when their dad passed away. That's who she was just the sweetest person to have in your corner. I know from reading her tributes online there are so many children and parent's lives she has touched and she has left a legacy in each of you. I am so sorry for your loss and you all have been in my thoughts and prayers. I hope it gives you strength and comfort that she was loved by so many. I will continue to pray for your peace and understanding that God will see you through now and in the days ahead.
