My great aunt Margie was great to many people. Always found her to be joyful, smart and godly. I know she blessed many people. She and my mother traveled extensively together which brought so much joy into my mother’s life. I am thankful that I was able to attend and enjoy her 90th bday celebration years ago. And now we get to celebrate her homegoing with Jesus.

Margie will be greatly missed. She was such an example to all of us of how to live life well. I remember her and Joy Kipp on the Mission Trips to Mexico and how they organized everything so wonderfully and served as well. What a wonderful life she lived. Love, Tracy and Jeff

Margie’s passing is heartfelt for all of us. We didn’t really get to know her but we saw her every Sunday at church. She was so friendly and interested in others. She had Zeal for the Lord!
We know now she is in the presence of our Heavenly Father!

Margie was my neighbor in Chappell Hill as well as being active in the life of our First Baptist Church family. She was active in missions work, serving in missions leadership for many years as well as hands-on involvement in our church's summer missionary trips to Mexico. Margie taught the Ladies’ Sunday School class right up until the pandemic interruption, and then attended church regularly via Zoom live-streaming while she was residing in Kruse Village. Margie as a senior citizen also launched and coordinated the Keen-Agers program, an outreach to local seniors who enjoyed monthly day trips on the church bus to various points of interest in nearby communities. She was also a staunch patriot, promoting the DAR annual observance of Constitution Week.
Her presence and influence are sorely missed!
