Obituary
M. Carolyn Meador, 63 of Brenham, passed away Monday, July 25, 2005 at her residence.
She was born May 29, 1942 to Presley Ewing Vinson and Margaret Helen Pond Vinson in Waco, TX.
Carolyn grew up in Houston, graduated from Lamar High School and attended the University of Texas at Austin. Carolyn was married to Ron Meador. She was employed at Valmont as a clerk in the maintenance department.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ron Meador in May 2004 and son John.
She is survived by daughters Lisa Rumsey of Brenham and Laura Rasmussen of Gem Lake, MN; grandchildren Douglas Meador, Christian, Emily and Kit Rasmussen; sister Ann McCraw of El Toro, CA.
Visitation with the Meador family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at Brenham Memorial Chapel.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 28, 2005 at Houston National Cemetery with burial to follow. Rev. Marcus Lawhorn will officiate.
