Louise Aydam

Louise Caffall Aydam, 94, on February 28, 2023, changed her address to Heaven where she went to be with her Lord and Savior. Louise was born in Houston, Texas on August 27, 1928 to Ella (Mueller) and Dr. Charles Aydam. Louise was a member of St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Brenham, Texas.

Louise attended and graduated high school from St. Agnes Academy in Houston, Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a degree in journalism.

Louise’s life was guided by the Bible, and she centered her life on Christ and lived in prayer and service. She played the violin and piano and loved music. Louise always had a Christian book to read. Louise had a wonderful mind; even at the age of 94, Louise enjoyed discussing the concerns of the day; always asking what would be the Godly solution.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents Ella and Charles Aydam and her sister Bertha Aydam.

Louise wished to extend a sincere thank you to Brazos Valley Hospice and her nurse Haley Folsom; as well as an appreciation and thanksgiving to her care givers: Vanessa Harris, Dorothy Miles, Donna Gaines, Joann Jefferson, and Joann Brieden.

A celebration of life for Louise will be held, on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church located at 701 Church Street, Brenham, Texas.

Memorials are requested to be given to St. Mary’s CCE for the Christian education of children.
