Krista Lane Engeling

Krista Lane Engeling was born November 24, 1996 and passed away December 28, 2024. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Krista graduated from Burton High School in May 2015, obtained two Associates Degrees from Blinn College, and attended Tarleton State University.

Krista was a bright light in the lives of those who knew her. She was here and she mattered. She had a deep appreciation for art, music, birds, and the beauty of nature. Krista’s gentle spirit brought warmth and kindness to all who had the privilege of knowing her and her compassionate nature touched the lives of everyone around her.

Krista is lovingly remembered by her parents, John Engeling and Kay and Scott Larson; her sister and brother-in-law, Karina and Luke Bodewig; brother and sister-in-law, Garrett and Jessica Larson, grandmother, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

Though Krista’s time with us was far too brief, her impact was immeasurable. May her memory bring comfort and peace to those who loved her.
