We are so sorry for your loss. We were blessed to know Kim through our daughter, Tasha Johnson. She was so full of life and a true friend to our daughter and a special person in the eyes of our grandsons. So fun and full of life, always thinking positive and gave God the glory for all things. Words can't fill the void you must be feeling but please know that you're in our prayers and we're rejoicing in knowing that we will see her beautiful smile again one day soon!

Kim was an amazing woman of God. We had the privilege of getting to know her and her being a part of our mission team in the DR over the last year and a half. Kim had a special way of connecting with people through her sincerity, love of Jesus and kindness. She had a heart for the young girls in our ministry program for young teen moms. She made them feel loved and appreciated.

Kim was so creative and saw life from an artistic viewpoint. She appreciated the beauty of God’s creation and it flowed from her as well.

We shared many moments and many laughs. Her sense of humor was one of a kind with a special appreciation of puns! We won’t be able to site a pun without thinking of our precious sister in Christ. We miss her deeply. We thank God for our time with Kim and it brings us peace in knowing she is dancing on the streets of gold and has surely heard, “ Well done my good and faithful servant.” We love you, Kim!

Kristine and Tim,
Please accept my sincere condolences. I am so sorry. Through the years, Kimberly touched the lives of many people. I am praying that you receive comfort and understanding during this most time.

Kristine, you may not remember me, I taught at Alton and Krause for many years. You were always so sweet and helpful when I would go to central office. I am sure Kimberly was just as helpful, caring and loving as you.
My sincere sympathy,

I give my condolences to the family of Ms. Kim. She believed and helped me so much during my time at Still Creek ranch. She loved me, she cared for me, she always would talk to me when she knew that I was down. She truly was a woman after Gods own heart. She will truly be missed. But I know that I will soon rejoice with her in those heavenly gates. May God lift up, restore and comfort the family during this time.

God bless you.

Tim and Kristine - our hearts are broken and so heavy for you. Kim was such a bright light in this dark world. I just think God took her home early (to us) because she had already served and given more than most. I know you will miss her greatly but rejoice in the fact that you will see her again soon! This is our Living Hope - Jesus Christ - whom she loved so dearly. We love you guys and will continue praying for you!!

I came across these words today after reading about Kim's life over the past 20 years since I knew her in high school. She had a beauty and strength here that was only a glimpse of who she is now, fully in the presence of Jesus.

From Morning Prayer 11/1/24 - All Saints’ Day:

“In C.S. Lewis’ masterpiece The Great Divorce, the narrator dreams of a great procession in heaven, celebrating an unknown woman: one of the great heroes of our faith, who is so beautiful he cannot capture her appearance in words…

“Is it? ... is it?” I whispered to my guide. “Not at all,” said he. “It's someone ye'll never have heard of. Her name on earth was Sarah Smith and she lived at Golders Green.”  “She seems to be ... well, a person of particular importance?” “Aye. She is one of the great ones. Ye have heard that fame in this country and fame on Earth are two quite different things.”... “And who are all these young men and women on each side?” “They are her sons and daughters.” “She must have had a very large family, Sir.” “Every young man or boy that met her became her son – even if it was only the boy that brought the meat to her back door. Every girl that met her was her daughter.” “... It is like when you throw a stone into a pool, and the concentric waves spread out further and further. Who knows where it will end? Redeemed humanity is still young, it has hardly come to its full strength. But already there is joy enough in the little finger of a great saint such as yonder lady to waken all the dead things of the universe into life.”**

I am so sorry for your loss. I taught and coached Kim when she attended BCA. She was so full of joy and was a beautiful person on the inside and out. She touched many lives during her short time on this Earth. She will most definately be missed.
