Julia Bell

Julia Bell, 94 of Brenham, passed away at her home Sunday, September 5, 2010.

She was born October 21, 1915 to William and Helen (Nowak) Wrobleski in Brenham. On November 13, 1956, she married William I. Bell in Bellville. Mrs. Bell was a homemaker, who enjoyed growing vegetables and flowers, fishing, and caring for family. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where she remained a member. In 1982, she again confessed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. That reaffirmed her hope to spend eternity with Christ.

Her parents, husband, son Kirby Palash and 12 siblings preceded her in death.

Survivors include: children and their spouses, Leon "L.J." and Lydia Palash (Abilene), Phillip Bell (Brenham), Vivian and James Raska (Brenham), James Bell (Humble), John Bell (Brenham); daughter-in-law, Linda Palash (Pensacola, Florida); grandchildren, Michael Palash, Shannon Raska, Tina and Stacey Roehling, Cheryl Palash, Lisa and Todd Zahnle, Blakely Bell, Brannan Bell, Brooklyn Bell, Baylor Bell, Jim Daughtery; great-grandchildren, Addie Roehling, Kyler Roehling, Braden Roehling, Brandon Daughtery, Austin Zahnle; numerous step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; caregivers, Vivian Raska and John Bell; companion, her dog Pattycake.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 8th from 6-8 p.m. with a “Time of Remembrance” at 7 p.m. led by Pastor Arthur Morgan in Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Funeral service will be Thursday, September 9th at 10 a.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel with Deacon Bill Januszewski officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Stacey Roehling, Shannon Raska, Albert Garcia, Troy Gardner, Albin Flisowski and Daniel Gaskamp. Honorary pallbearers will be: Addie Roehling, Kyler Roehling and Braden Roehling.
