Mrs. Fisher was a customer of mine, when I worked at Appel Ford-Mercury. She was a kind and dynamic person...we really clicked well. She is truly one of my long-time customers that I will ALWAYS remember.

Dear Family,

Joyce was a wonderful sweet lady who always had a smile and a kind word. I would often go by the shop and talk about the hand crafts that where so special to us. We also talked about our love for the Lord and shared stories about our being raised in the church. She was always interested in the needs of others. She will be deeply missed.
Sincerely,

Dear Janet & Family:

The one that you love and lost for awhile is now with her beloved Clint and is singing in the Heavenly Choir. What a wonderful lady who was a joy to know and love. Our love and prayers are with you and yours. His Love will give you the strength you need to get through these lonely times.

Love,
Mary Lou Appel & Family

Dear Joy, Jan, and John,

Please accept our deepest sympathy in the loss of your mother. We had a good relationship with your parents for a very long time.

I am so sorry we are unable to attend visitation or the funeral. We are leaving tomorrow morning for Longview to care for our grandchildren.

We are keeping you all in our prayers and holding you in our hearts at this difficult time.

Fondly,
Judy & Calvin

Dear Janet & Family,
I am so very saddened to hear of your mother's
passing. She was such a grand lady and truly loved the Lord. She is at peace now and what
a comfort we as Christians have to know she is
finally home.
I always remember going into the store and she
always had a kind word and always inspired
me to wear scarves more after seeing just how pretty they always looked on her.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your
family as they have been for sometime now.
Always,
Janet M. Schulze

Dear Janet and family,
I do not know if you remember me or not but I was always in the store buying Texas things to send to my family in the U.K. I remember you mom's beautiful voice and how you took care of my shoping. You and yours are in my prayers. My GOD Bless you.
Sincerely,
with Christian love, Rita Griffith

P.S. We moved from Brenham in July 2006, David Griffth(our son) went to be with Jesus in April, 2004.

What a blessing Joyce and the Newland family have been! We mourn at the loss of such a wonderful person for she has gone too soon, but we rejoice in her life and the light that she has shown to her family and friends. Joyce is resting in the arms of the Lord now.
