Dear Garnett Family,
I was so saddened to learn of John's death. Even though I've not had much "adult" contact with your beautiful family I identify with all the comments made here about John's love, warmth, faith, fidelity,humor,and generosity. All the Sisters of Divine Providence here at Our Lady of the Lake Convent will keep all of you in our love and prayers; especially during this difficult time of loss which,for sure,leaves a "hole in your hearts." Remember that our loving and Provident God is always with you. My love and prayers as always.

Oh ! How we will miss that man with the friendly smile and twinkle in his eye. What a wonderful man and friend. John had a way of always lifting your spirits and making you smile. It was a pleasure knowing and working with him .

Such a truly nice man. I knew him from Mass at St. Mary's. I will miss his smiling face and kind words.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Mr. Garnett always had a smile on his face. I will always have fond memories of him.

I knew John for quite a while and respected him very much. He would always greet me with a smile every time he came to a Board meeting at the WCAD. We will miss him. God bless the family
