John Henry Mitchamore

John Henry Mitchamore, 86, peacefully passed away on November 24, 2023. John was born on November 17, 1937 in Houston, Texas to Viola and John T. Mitchamore.

John Henry proudly served his country in the Navy, he was a machinist, loved his wife and family, enjoyed woodworking and doing a whole lot of nothing!

John is preceded in death by his parents and 2 of his brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Vivian Mitchamore, their four daughters, two of his brothers, eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held for John on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham, Texas.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
