John Edward Devine

John Edward “Andy” Devine, 81, of Brenham passed away Monday, May 8, 2006 in Trinity Medical Center.

Mr. Devine was born May 30, 1924 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to William A. Devine and Mary (Colgan) Devine. He retired from Exxon’s Baytown Refinery where he was a computer technician. He was of the Catholic faith and a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and Elks Lodge.

His parents, 3 sisters, 4 brothers and his first wife preceded him in death.

Survivors are: sons Patrick Devine and wife Louise of Houston and Denis Devine of Brenham; daughter Karen Wade and husband Ronnie Wade of Baytown; 3 grandchildren Brian Devine, Brandi Goodman, Jeremy Goodman and great-granddaughter Kailey Rodriquez.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2006 in Brenham Memorial Chapel with Msgr. Benedict Zientek officiating.
