I met your mother when I was living in Houston. She invited myself and a friend over to the house in Memorial. She served us cottage cheese with tomatoes and french dressing with a glass of white wine.
We got along very well and she invited us to tag along on a little journey to the beach house in Galveston and then onto the ranch in Brenham.
I believe the ranch was newly purchased and your mother appreciated the help moving some of her belongings from Galveston to the farm. She wanted to start a worm farm venture there and asked if I would be interested in working for her.
Since I was already employed I turned down the offer. I have always been curious if the worm farm ever took off?
I loved the ranch, such a beautiful and peaceful place.
I'm sure it brought your mother much happiness. I remember your mother as a very sweet and kind person and I am very sorry for your loss.

Patrick, Junie, and Michael,

Your mom will be dearly missed. She taught me so much when my family stayed out at her place in Brenham(1985-86). Was saddened when I heard of her passing, but know she lived a full life on her terms.

Our condolence to your family. Your mother loved each of her children. She was very proud of each of you. Education was very important to her. She loved helping others. May God be with you at this time of loss. Remember all the good times.
