Jeff Gill

Jeff Gill, 60, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023.

Jeff was born to Barbara Mae Gill and Paul James Gill in Inglewood, California on September 02,1962. They traveled widely as a military family. The fondest memories he spoke of were times spent in Louisiana and his home Texas. Jeff graduated South Garland High School and went on to be a Master Mechanic for 43 years. He was very passionate about sports. A couple of his favorites were spending time playing softball and flag football over the years. He coached baseball for his son Jeffrey and softball for his daughter Rylie. Jeff’s favorite teams were the LSU Tigers, Dallas Cowboys, and the Los Angeles Dodgers. His passion for yelling and cheering at the television was unmatched. He was goofy and his dad jokes were always on point. He had a tough exterior but was genuinely a good man. Jeff loved his children and family deeply, and was an amazing father. We are incredibly saddened by his unexpected loss.

Jeff was preceded in death by his Mother, Father, Nephew John, Grandson Gabriel.

He is survived by his family: Son Jeffrey Gill, Daughters Tiffany Flores, Brittany Lindsay and Rylie Gill. Daughter in law Sheena Gill and Son in laws Nabor Flores and Aaron Lindsay. Step children Christopher Gakin, Brittni Fowler, and Jacob Hart-Siddiquie. Mother of children Sherry Kelley and Kathy Gill. Sisters Tammy Gill, Karen Hope-Overstreet, Dana Gill and Brother in Law David Overstreet. And many more family members who loved him dearly.

A memorial service for Jeff will be held at a later date.
