James C. Riley, Jr. - Guestbook

Our condolences to the family. Mr Riley has touched our lives and will forever be in our memories. He, as well as his stories, will be missed. He has gone off to prepare a place for the rest of us when it is our time to leave this world. We are so glad that we had the chance to be a small part of his life.

Mr. Riley was truly one of our favorite people on earth. He was genuine, kind and caring. Mr. Riley has touched each of us in his own special way. His jokes and the joy he got out of telling them will also be a lasting memory. God just doesn't make em like him any more. May God be with you all at this time. With fond memories, The Bill Cramer Family

To the loving family of Mr. Jim Riley-My thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone of you at this sad time. I will truly miss Mr. Riley. He was a wonderful and compassionate, gentle and loving man. He always made me feel welcomed when I was around. On the few occasions I went for dinner on Friday at the Elks Mr. Riley sat with us and he was such a joy to be around. He was one of my favorite people in Brenham. It saddens me that I did not have the chance to say goodbye to Mr. Riley, but I know he is in good hands now and that he is watching over us and will continue to do so. I wish that we had more people like Mr. Riley, for the world would be a much better place. I know that he is holding hands with his beautiful wife Betty, whom he missed so very dearly. To each of his family members, may God bless each and everyone of you and get you through this trying time. I know it will be very difficult, but Mr. Riley will always be with you in a very special way.I know that he will live on in my heart and memory forever.
