My sympathy to you and your family I was so sad to hear Gladys passed away. She was a very sweet and lovely lady. When I worked at the Saddle Shop I always enjoyed out time together and I know she will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Alice, Helen and family,
My sympathy to you and your family on the passing of a wonderful lady. Always with a smile on her face and a friendly greeting whenever we saw her at the Saddle Shop or somewhere in town shopping. It does not feel the same when you enter the store and don't see her there. God needed a special angel to do his work and called her to his wonderful home. My prayers are with you. May God bless.

Helen, Alice and all Gladys's loved ones -
This lady was so special! She always had something nice to say and she was a wonderful cook. I remember enjoying spending the night at the Schwarze house and looking forward to her awesome meals!! Maybe that's where I learned the appreciation of great food!
I know your wonderful memories will live on forever in your hearts. May God give you peace as you know you will be joined with her later. I will be lifting you all up in prayers for continued comfort.

Dear Alice, Helen & your families:
Words cannot express what the heart feels when such a wonderful, sweet, and precious person has to leave us. I am so sorry for your loss. It seems like just yesterday that Gladys taught me how to fold Wrangler jeans when we worked together at the Brenham Saddle Shop. She was an ageless lady, she looked the same the last time I saw her as she did when we worked together thirty years ago.
You are all in my prayers and I pray that you feel the presence of our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ as you go through today and the days ahead.
She was a great lady and will be missed by all of us who knew her.

Dear Alice, Helen and Families,
I am so sorry for the tremendous loss you are feeling at this time. I, too, feel a great loss in the passing of your mother/grandmother. Mrs. Schwarze was a very special lady. It's been over 35 yrs. since I worked with the 3 of you at the Saddle Shop and there was never a place or situation where I saw her and she didn't stop and ask about me and my family. I will miss those little meetings where we could catch up on grandchildren (great for her) and reminiscence about our good times at the SS.
It's so difficult to give up our parents and the only advice I can offer is to enjoy the memories, share them often and look forward to the day when we'll meet our loved ones again. Our family is keeping you in our prayers.

Dear Family, My sincere sympathy at this time.
What a wonderful life she led. I had the privilege for several years working with her judging the Banner Press Baking Contest. We always agreed upon what was the best tasting and prettiest. And many times she helped me find just the right thing at Brenham Saddle Shop. She will be missed with her smile and upbeat attitude. She was a joy to be around. May you feel the comfort of family and friends during this time. You can take comfort in knowing that Jesus welcomed his faithful servant home with open arms. Sincerely, Elizabeth Meinholdt

Dear Alice, Helen and your families,
J.W. and I was so sorry to hear that Gladys has
left us for her heavenly home.
We loved her and she is really going to be missed. My heart is filled with so many sweet memories of earlier years when our children were younger and we spent so much time at the little league games together and many school and other events down through the years.
She was a special Lady.
Please know that we are thinking of each of you
and we are lifting you up in prayer now and during the days ahead.
May God comfort all our hearts as we remember a very sweet lady with a loving heart.
Our love is with You All,
