Ernest W. Grimm, Jr.

Ernest W. Grimm, Jr. 65 of Brenham passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas.

Ernest was born July 28, 1938 in the Wonder Hill Community of Washington County to Ernest W. , Sr. and Adele (Schroeder) Grimm. He attended Bellville High School. He was baptized and confirmed at St. James Lutheran Church of New Wehdem. Ernest married Judy Niebuhr in Brenham on June 21,1980 and worked in the electrical and mechanical maintenance departments for a number of businesses in Brenham and Bellville. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and loved cars and tractors and kept them immaculately clean.

Ernest is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife Judy A. Grimm of Brenham; daughter Sheila K. Grimm of Houston; son Troy D. Grimm and wife Melissa Franke Grimm and their son Clayton Bradley Grimm of Burton; step-daughter Dodie Miller of Brenham; sisters Evelyn Beck of Brenham and Doris Maresh of Bellville.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm., Friday, January 9, 2004 in Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 10, 2004 in Brenham Memorial Chapel with Rev. Steve Ponder officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Nelson White, Ron Day, J. W. Burchfield, Bo Norenburg, Ronnie Faithhauer, Bob Cottle.

Memorials may be given to the charity or church of your choice.
