Dear Dr. Dietrich,

How very sorry I am to learn of Bobbie's death. Please know that both of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

You have been an important part of my life ever since you built your new home near our parsonage in Walnut Hills. And, of course, Bobbie became equally dear to my family when you married. Little did I know then that she would someday be a crucial influence in my life during a particularly difficult time.

I will never forget the kindness shown me by Dr. Dietrich while I was her student at Blinn in 1974. She was so very attentive after my father's death that year and graciously forgave my sad "scholarly endeavors." I well remember her speech classes and the presentations through which I made her suffer. More important, I will always cherish her example and the regular, sustaining encouragement she gave me as I struggled to understand a confusing future without my father.

While it is so very difficult to see another of the wonderful souls who touched my life while growing up in Brenham move on, I am so very grateful for her example and her love. You and Bobbie will forever live in me.

May God continue to bless you and give you peace.

Dr. Dietrich,

Forty years ago I was a student of yours in your sophomore English class. I remember the summer when you got married to Dr. Bobbie Morrow, and came back to campus with such happiness on your face. Your whole method of teaching had changed. She was a positive influence on your life. I have recently retired from teaching after 33 years and remember how you loved to lecture about the "The Second Coming."
I am sorrow to hear of your loss.

Dr. Dietrich was one of my favorite Blinn instructors. Her instruction is one of the reasons that I enjoy the success that I do as a radio broadcast personality. My sympathy is extended to the family of this wonderful lady.

Dr. Dietrich,

I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Bobbie was one of the first people to welcome me to Blinn in 1972. Our offices were adjacent to one another in Old Main and she always made herself available to help and answer my questions She was very kind and supportive of me as a new faculty member and I enjoyed working with her and benefitted from her wisdom and experience for many years.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

With sympathy,
Pat Taylor
