Obituary
Cynthia Marie Murski was born January 26, 1959 to Raymond Zurek, Sr. and Margie Sopchak Zurek in Houston, Texas and went to the Lord August 14, 2010.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Victor Murski, daughter Madeline Truelove and husband Kody, son Carl Murski, her baby daughter Rebecca Murski, brother Raymond Zurek, Jr. and wife Karen, sister Pat Sisson, brother-in-law Larry Murski, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many close friends.
Cynthia and her husband moved to Brenham in 1994. She helped in St. Mary’s religious education whenever needed. After 17 years as a stay at home Mom, she began working at First Baptist Church Daycare Center. Here she touched many, many lives, both young and old. Whether five infant children or twenty, she gave motherly love to all and always had a warm smile and big hug for everyone. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her, but never forgotten for the legacy she left behind. Her untimely death can best be explained by her good friend and relative Dawn Murski Lange, when she told the family, “I woke up in the middle of the night and I knew the reason why Cindy was taken from us so soon. The Lord needed someone to take care of all the babies in heaven, so He took her the best he could find… Cindy Murski. I know right now she is in heaven, teaching the babies how to sing “Itsy Bitsy Spider”. We love you Cindy, you have fun with all your new babies.”
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, August 17th from 6-8 p.m. with rosary at 7 p.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, August 18th at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Monsignor Benedict Zientek as celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Darryl Budell, Bob Coughman, Keith Evans, Frank Juarez, Billy Lange, Dennis Lowe, Roger Mazurkiewicz and Robert Murski. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Cendalski, Durwood Felton and Henry Mazurkiewicz.
