Obituary

Charles “Doc” Jozwiak, age 64, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 at his home in the Wesley Community of Washington County.

He was born in Brenham, the son of Frank and Myrtle (Harding) Jozwiak on December 4, 1951. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and Brenham High School. On November 20, 1981, he married Mary Ann Brending in Bellville.

“Doc” was employed as a tile and carpet layer at Fischer Tile & Floor Covering and Kenjura Tile. Later, he opened an automotive paint and body shop. He also did home remodeling construction. “Doc” would help anyone and people came to him for advice on how to do so many things. He was an outdoorsman, loving to fish and hunt.

Surviving loving family includes: wife, Mary Jozwiak; daughter Dr. Michelle Huang and husband Gene, granddaughter Sophia Huang (Gettysburg, Pennsylvania); daughter Millissa Warren and husband Gary (Austin), grandson Jack Hunter III and wife Evette, great granddaughter Shelby Hunter and great grandson Jack Hunter IV (Lampasas); brother Stanley Jozwiak and special friend Evelyn Malota (Fayetteville); sisters, Barbara Haar (Brenham), Pat Rinn (Industry), Josephine Nance (Huntsville), Frances Mendoza (Somerville); sister-in-law, Florence Krause and friend Larry Kaigler (Industry); brothers-in-law, Johnnie Brending (Industry), Roger Brending and wife Linda (LaGrange); numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents, son Keith, brother Anthony; brothers-in-law Alton Haar, Mike Mendoza, Jerry Rinn, Charles Nance.
