Our condolence to you and your family. My grandmother would speak of Mrs. Moran and family often. As I read Mrs. Moran obituary she was a highly respective active leader in her community. I would ask my grandmother why do they have some many house parties. Now, I see absolutely an active woman of integrity and great host. Love is a connection and we love the Moran family unexplainable. My grandmother Berthina Tates and family are grateful for your parents. Our prayers are with you during your time of grievance. God will strengthen you during this time.
Prayers, Catina Morgan-Martinez and family.

Dear Moran family,
I was fortunate to have been close to so many of my grandparents' friends, but your beloved parents were favorites. They were both so gracious and genuinely interested in everything going on in my life from high school well into having children of my own. They were generous and warm and their smiles lit up the room. Carolyn was such a dear companion to my grandmother after my grandfather died. It was heart breaking to see her memory fade; I can only imagine the bittersweet relief you feel knowing she is fully herself again reunited with your siblings and your dear father. She was as beautiful inside as she was on the outside, and she will be missed. Praying you feel their presence and the comfort of the Holy Spirit as you grieve this tremendous loss. I first met Carolyn when she was a Senior and served as Band Sweet heart with the Lamar ROTC Band in 1950.Later we both served in Student Government while we were Sophmores at the University of Houston. Many times we would meet and study together in the University Library. I was thrilled when she was name beauty in Frontier fiesta and other venues.
I am grateful to have known such a beauty and wonderful person. I also want to thank another Lamar friend Cordelia Cummings who has kept me updated on Carolyn's health situation.

To all of Carolyn's dear family,
Your Mother and Grandmother set an example to so many as a community leader and as the perfect matriarch of her wonderful family. She was beautiful inside and out and shared her love through so many pathways. It has been a long difficult journey to lose her to Altheimer's in a painful way and you have all handled it with dignity. May your memories bring you joy and your faith give you comfort and peace. Dear Moran Family,

So very sorry to hear for Mrs. Moran's passing. What a beautiful lady of grace, kindness, accomplishment and friendship! We loved knowing Mr. & Mrs. Moran and all your family and having the Rancho Poco Mo Santa Gertrudis cattle connection with our Fuchs family. We also enjoyed another connection as I became a Moran and folks thought we were related. Mr. Dan was so sweet to say that we could be part of their Moran family. Cherish all the fond memories of your sweet mom and the times you spent together to help comfort you in the days ahead. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
With Sympathy,
David, Christy, Madison and Dawson Moran

My condolences to the family, Mrs Moran was always so kind and always had a smile on her face. Through my Business I had the Opportunity to delivery things to Mr Moran once or twice a month at that time they lived out on Mayfair lane, It was always around Noon that I arrived at their home, after a few months Mrs Moran asked me "When Do you eat lunch?" I told her I just grab what I can and keep working, The next month when I arrived at the Moran's she asked me to come in and join her and her husband for lunch, after that I had lunch with them every time I made a delivery . God Bless the family
