Carol Ann Sonnier - Guestbook

Dear Bonnie: A shocking loss like this is so hard to understand. Carol was such a lively person, passionate in her love for her pets. Her "baby", Tio, could not have asked for a better home. When my mother gave him to Carol, she said that he would become the "prince" of the house and he certainly did! I know that he, as the rest of us, will cherish our memories of Carol. I just know that she is in charge of all of the pets in heaven!

Dear Bonnie,

Carol Ann was one of my best friends in high school along with Jan (Boecker) Stayton and Karen Kroll. She and I were in scouts, dancing school and band together and had many a great time. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'll always remember her.

You will remember my mother, Lucille Burleson, who passed away about 35 years ago. I hope they are together again now and having more fun on the other side. Best wishes to your family.

Love,
Sandra (Burleson) Carter

For Posterity ...

Carol Ann was a rare soul who could be moody and quick-humored at the same instance. We shared many jokes and mutual time spent at the Co-op.

She had deep affection for animals and cared for the feelings of others. Her dedication to her mother, Bonnie, was truly admirable.

The fact that I once broke a date with her in high school was the subject of much delight to her in needling me about it in later years.

Some people just pass through. Others pass along something all can remember. Carol Ann Sonnier was among the latter.

I am honored to be one who shall bear her to her final resting place.

God rest ye well, dear Carol. You will be missed sorely by your friends.
