Amy Furgiuele - Guestbook

I had the honor and pleasure of serving on the Cursillo team, as the Protestant clergy, when she served as the Rectora. Because she lived her faith in her daily life, she has touched so many lives. Her love and joy will continue to be felt as the memories of her are shared with each other. I still have the cross she made for each team member.
You all are in my prayers.

Her laugh, her smile... she was one of a kind! I knew her through TEC/Cursillo and she really practiced what she preached -- she was kind, compassionate, and welcoming to everyone. I am so sorry to hear of her passing, but I know her heart is full now that she is with Jesus.

My deepest condolences go out to Amy’s family!
Amy was a coworker and friend that I have had the pleasure of
working with, knowing, and was my book buddy at work for many years.
She was kind and so funny and just an amazing person!
The one thing that I will always remember is her great laugh, I can hear it as I am writing this and will miss hearing so very much!
May God grant her eternal rest and give comfort to her family and friends!

Miss you Amy!

Deeply saddened to learn of Amy's passing. She was on my team for several years at Caterpillar. She was a wonderful team member - bright, dedicated, focused and had a wonderful sense of humor. She had such a great command of the English language and was extremely precise in her thinking. May God grant her eternal peace. My condolences to her family. Rest In Peace Dear Amy.

Our dear sweet niece, Amy Furgiuele, we are deeply saddened by her sudden passing. We extend our deepest condolences to her Mom and Dad, Susan and Terry Furgiuele and her siblings, Scott, Amber and Amanda and their families. Our hearts are broken for you all. She was truly a genuine and precious Woman of God with so many God-given talents and abilities. Her smile and laughter were infectious, her love was deep, and her quick wit was superb. Oh, how we will miss her beautiful smile and loving personality, and (LOL) her delicious jellies and jams she personally made and gave us on special occasions. But today, we take great comfort in knowing that she is with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, because of her very deep and lasting relationship with him. We know that we will see her again one day in heaven. We Love Amy and she will continue to live on our hearts and memories. God Bless you all. With much love to all...

Amy and I served on the Women’s Cursillo #867 team in July 2007.
That’s when and where I met Amy in Peoria, IL. Soon after, we were in Group Reunion together and met regularly until she moved to Texas. Amy was one of the most faith-filled people I have ever known. She reached out to me @ 4:00 AM on October 29 explaining her health issues and asking for prayers. She closed with “Mary, we got this”….. Yes, she was right. Although our prayers weren’t answered the way we wanted, Amy is at peace with her Father in Heaven. We now have another saint in Heaven cheering us on in our faith journeys. She deeply touched the lives of everyone who knew her, and I am a better person because of Amy. I have jewelry which she made, a cross with her handwritten message on the back, Christmas ornaments, and even some of her homemade vanilla. These are gifts I will always treasure.
With love, prayers & sympathy to her family, Mary Venden

I extend my deepest sympathies and condolences to the Furgiuele family. Amy was a coworker and friend at Caterpillar who was able to brighten up my day during any interactions that I had with her. Her positive energy, witty sense of humor, and compassion for others will be sorely missed. Her faith shone brightly in how she treated others and carried herself at work. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
